Delete your account and all your data
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your entries, every derived value, and the account itself. It cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy.
If you can't reach the app: email alexhu@me.com from the address on the account and ask for deletion.
Export & corrections
Export everything
Settings → Account → Export. JSON includes your raw entries and every extracted value with the snippet it came from; markdown is for reading. Free, no limit, no subscription needed.
Fix or delete a single extracted value
Open the entry, tap the chip, then Edit or Remove. Your original text is never altered.
Voice
In the iPhone app, voice entries are transcribed on your device by a speech model downloaded when you create your account, and recordings are never uploaded. In the browser the app cannot run that model, so a recording is uploaded, transcribed, and then deleted on your retention schedule. On both, the transcript is sent to the server for extraction, the same as text you type.
Recordings and storage
Recordings live on your device in the iPhone app, and in our storage if made in the browser. Either way they are deleted on your schedule: Settings → Voice → Keep audio for. Default 30 days, range 0 to 90, where 0 discards the recording as soon as it is transcribed. Delete everything now with Settings → Voice → Delete stored audio.
The model is still downloading
The first download runs once, on Wi-Fi, and is a few hundred megabytes. Until it finishes you can still record — entries queue on your device and transcribe when the model is ready. Progress is in Settings → Voice.
Subscriptions
Writing, voice, extraction, check-ins, the factors board, and export are free, permanently. The subscription covers analysis: statistical testing, findings, and experiments. New accounts get a 14-day full trial. If it lapses nothing is deleted, and your findings return when you resubscribe.
- Restore purchases: Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases, signed in with the Apple Account that bought it.
- Cancel: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Listening. Billing is Apple's; we can't cancel on your behalf.
- Refunds: Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Troubleshooting
An entry is stuck on "pending"
The text is saved; extraction hasn't finished. Pull down on the timeline to retry. If it persists for more than a few minutes on a working connection, email us the day and time.
Voice isn't transcribing
Check that the speech model finished downloading in Settings → Voice, and that Microphone access is allowed in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone. Very long recordings take longer; transcription runs in the background and the entry appears when it completes.
Check-ins aren't appearing
Confirm they're on in Settings → Check-ins, and allowed in iOS Settings → Notifications. A check-in you've already answered for the current day won't show again.
Entries landing on the wrong day
A personal day runs to 4:00 am, so something written at 1 am belongs to the day before. Change it in Settings → Preferences → Day starts at. This rebuilds derived data; your entries don't move.
